Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support a large-scale migration from Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. The organization is currently in the mapping/design phase and is looking for a senior PM who can quickly take ownership of project execution and provide stronger Oracle ERP subject matter knowledge as the implementation progresses.
This individual will partner closely with internal IT and business teams, leadership, and the third-party implementation partner. The ideal candidate has previously managed an Oracle EBS to Fusion migration or comparable large-scale Oracle ERP transformation and understands the business processes behind Finance and Supply Chain well enough to understand user questions, identify risks, and challenge the implementation partner when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the integrated project plan, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, action items, and deliverables across the Oracle migration.
- Coordinate between the implementation partner, internal IT teams, Finance/Supply Chain stakeholders, and leadership.
- Hold the implementation partner accountable for timelines, deliverables, quality, and commitments.
- Drive activities across design/mapping, configuration, data migration, integrations, testing, cutover, go-live, and stabilization.
- Maintain project governance, including RAID logs, decisions, action items, status reporting, and Steering Committee updates.
- Identify schedule, resource, dependency, or delivery risks early and drive resolution or escalation.
- Translate between technical teams and business users, particularly around Oracle Finance and Supply Chain processes.
- Support organizational readiness and change management activities throughout the migration.
- Drive go-live readiness, cutover planning, stabilization, and transition to ongoing support.
