Job summary

Gov Services Hub is seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Engineer in Newark, DE (Hybrid) to design and optimize data warehousing and analytics pipelines. You will lead PL/SQL development, ETL workflows, and data modeling efforts in a fast-paced Agile setting.

You will collaborate with upstream and downstream data models, perform DB tuning, and ensure data quality and integrity across large datasets, delivering actionable insights through BI tools.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Oracle PL/SQL development and ETL experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL ETL processes to support data warehousing and analytics.
• Design data models to support warehousing and analytics requirements.
• Collaborate with upstream SOR systems and downstream data models.
• Tune databases and optimize performance.
• Improve data flow and ensure data quality and integrity.
• Conduct independent data analyses on large datasets and present findings.
• Enhance existing processes and define new ones.
• Work in an agile, fast-paced development environment.
• Communicate effectively with the team and stakeholders.
• Operate with minimal supervision within a development team.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development and ETL processes
• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support data warehousing and analytics requirements
• Work with upstream SOR systems and downstream data models
• Perform database fine tuning and optimize performance
• Streamline and improve data flow and quality, ensuring data integrity and value
• Conduct independent data analysis on large datasets to identify patterns and present findings
• Enhance existing processes and define new ones
• Collaborate in an agile, fast-paced development environment
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Work effectively as part of a development team with minimal supervision
• Hold a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative field (e.g. computer science, mathematics, engineering, finance)
• Utilize ETL tools such as DataStage, Informatica, or Alteryx
• Use BI tools like Tableau or MicroStrategy for reporting and analytics
• Familiar with job scheduling tools (e.g. Autosys, Shell scripts)
• Possess strong Excel skills
