Job summary

Citi is seeking an Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our technology team in a hybrid role based in Pune/Chennai, India. You will collaborate with senior developers, DBAs, and other engineers to build end-to-end solutions using Oracle PL/SQL, Angular, and Java.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in Oracle PL/SQL, strong data modeling skills, and experience with AWS migrations. Bachelor’s degree required; familiarity with ETLs and DevOps practices is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Oracle PL/SQL development experience in web app development with Angular, Java and Oracle tech stack.
• Expertise in logical and physical data models, maintenance of DDLS.
• Expertise in Oracle objects, PL/SQL code, and ability to write complex SQLs.
• Collaborate with server side/UI developers and DBAs to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud and migration of apps/services/data to AWS.
• Familiarity with ETLs and data migrations.

Responsibilities

• Work in an agile environment following Scrum practices.
• Analyze requirements, clarify, estimate, and commit to delivery.
• Design solutions, develop defect-free code, meet functional/non-functional needs.
• Peer review and assist teammates to improve overall performance.
• Incorporate DevOps practices: automated builds, tests, scans, and regression tests.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and eliminate root causes; automate repetitive tasks.
• Learn to become full-stack to address end-to-end delivery of user stories.
