Collabera is hiring an Oracle PL/SQL Developer in Charlotte, NC. The role is a 12-18 month contract with a mix of 3 days in office and 2 days of remote work.

You will design, develop, and support Oracle database applications and PL/SQL programs, partnering with business users, PMs, QA, and production support teams. The ideal candidate will have strong PL/SQL skills, SQL tuning, data modeling, and experience with Exadata features.

Qualifications

• Strong Oracle database experience (12c/19c or later).
• Advanced PL/SQL development with performance tuning.
• Experience with data modeling and database design.
• Hands-on with Git/Bitbucket for version control.
• Experience supporting large enterprise applications.
• Ability to optimize PL/SQL for Exadata environments.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC - 28255

Work Arrangement: 3 day in office with 2 day WFH

About the Role:

Description:

The OracleDeveloper is responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting Oracledatabase applications, PL/SQLprograms, and reporting solutions. In addition to strong technical expertise, this role requires exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with business users, project managers, architects, QA teams, and production support teams

Key Responsibilities:

• PL/SQLpackages, procedures, functions, and triggers
• Tables, views, indexes, and materialized views
• Performance tuning and query optimization
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform root-cause analysis and resolve production issues.
• Create technical design documents, data flow diagrams, and deployment plans.
• Support application releases, code promotions, and change management activities.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and data governance standards.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions and design reviews.
• Clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Provide status updates, risks, and dependencies to management.
• Collaborate with QA, developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver solutions on schedule.
• Document solutions thoroughly and maintain high quality technical documentation.
• Participate in client meetings and confidently present technical recommendations.

• Leverage OracleExadata features such as Smart Scan, Hybrid Columnar Compression (HCC), Storage Indexes, and Parallel Query to improve database performance.

Compensation

Hourly Rate:63$-65$ per hour

This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
