Job summary

Cloud and Things is seeking an Oracle PeopleSoft Data Security Consultant to secure PeopleSoft data within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in NYS. You will focus on database controls, encryption, access governance, and secure cloud operations.

The role collaborates with application, database, cybersecurity, IAM, integration, and cloud teams to maintain compliant data environments and protect enterprise data assets.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Database Security.
• 4+ years of experience with OCI security and data protection.
• 4+ years of experience with PeopleSoft security configuration and roles.
• 4+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, data protection and governance.

Responsibilities

• Secure handling, integration, transmission, and storage of PeopleSoft data in OCI.
• Implement and support Oracle database security controls (encryption, auditing, privileged accounts).
• Protect data flows with downstream systems, identity platforms, APIs and gateways.
• Support access governance, application security, data protection, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain secure data environments.
