Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Business Systems Analyst to join the HR Technology team and provide expert support for Oracle Cloud HCM reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining complex reports using Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) and OTBI across HR, Benefits, Compensation, Performance, and Talent modules. An important component of this role is understanding and implementing security rules within the reporting environment to ensure data confidentiality and integrity.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of extensive experience with Oracle HCM Reporting.
- Total 5 to 7 years of IT experience in building reports and dashboards using Oracle BI Publisher and OTBI.
Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Act as the primary liaison for Oracle HCM Cloud Reporting, consulting with internal customers to create requirements for new reports, report changes, and data requests.
- Translate requirements for technical developers.
- Collaborate with HR, Benefits, Compensation, Performance, and Talent stakeholders to understand their reporting and security needs.
- Translate complex business requirements into detailed functional specifications, including security requirements.
- Analyze existing reports and security configurations to identify areas for improvement and performance optimization.
- Document requirements, specifications, security design, and testing plans.
- Report Maintenance:
- Design and maintain complex reports using Oracle BIP and OTBI, including data modeling, SQL queries, and layout design.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all reports.
- Optimize report performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Security Implementation and Management:
- Design and implement security rules within Oracle HCM reporting to control access to sensitive data.
- Understand and apply Oracle HCM security concepts related to reporting.
- Data Analysis and Validation:
- Perform data analysis to validate report results and identify discrepancies and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and execute test plans for report accuracy and functionality.
- User Support and Training:
- Provide support to end-users on report usage, troubleshooting, and security guidelines.
- Develop training materials and documentation.
- Project Management and Collaboration:
- Participate in project planning and execution for reporting and security initiatives.
- Collaborate with IT, security, and other teams to ensure successful implementation.
- Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Stay updated on Oracle HCM cloud updates, new report features, and security patches.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
- Experience with other reporting and security tools.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and security best practices.
- Project management experience.
- Experience with SOX or other compliance standards.
