Job summary

Optomi, in partnership with a leading technology-driven company, is seeking an Oracle HCM Cloud Senior Payroll Developer in the Charlotte, NC area. The role leads with functional and technical expertise to ensure accurate payroll processing and system enhancements.

You will collaborate with Payroll Operations, HR, Finance, and Technology teams to resolve production issues and deliver SAP-like enhancements in a hybrid 4-1 work model.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience supporting Oracle HCM applications and US payroll processing.
• Strong functional knowledge of US payroll processing within Oracle HCM Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll.
• Partner with Payroll Operations to troubleshoot and resolve payroll issues.
• Design, configure, test, and implement application changes following the software development lifecycle.
• Support payroll-related processes including calculations, taxes, and integrations.
• Strengthen team knowledge through documentation and training.

Position Summary: The Oracle HCM Cloud Senior Payroll Developer will provide functional and technical leadership for Charter’s Oracle HCM Payroll environment. This role involves close collaboration with Payroll Operations, HR, Compensation, Finance, Accounting, Tax, and Technology teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, resolve production issues, and deliver system enhancements. The candidate must be based in the Charlotte, North Carolina area or willing to work locally, adhering to Charter's 4-1 Hybrid Model.
