Job summary

Amazon Finance Technology seeks an Oracle Applications Developer to join the Close Orchestration team, driving automation across GL and sub-ledgers for timely financial closes. You will collaborate with customers to implement enhancements, simplify integrations, and build downstream connections to data lakes using AWS tech.

The role requires 4+ years of software development, strong PL/SQL, and deep Oracle E-Business Suite knowledge within multi-book environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or a related field
• Knowledge of Oracle e-Business Suite in a multiple organization and multiple set of books environment
• 4+ years of software development experience
• Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL best practices
• Knowledge of one or multiple accounting frameworks (including US GAAP, IFRS, or local GAAP frameworks)
• Experience developing and debugging PL/SQL on Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2) — working within EBS schemas/objects (AP, GL)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to work on enhancements to existing workflows or creating new workflows
• Enhance and simplify complex customization's and Integrations to enhance customer experience
• Leverage AWS tech stack to build downstream integrations to data lakes
• Define and enhance Operational Engineering excellence metrics and Engineering excellence metrics
