Job summary

Pacer Group is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Financials Functional Consultant to lead and support implementations and production support for Oracle Fusion Financials. The role emphasizes GL and GL Allocations with strong involvement in requirements analysis and functional design.

You will work with Finance, Accounting, IT, and partners to deliver solutions, perform testing, and ensure successful deployment and stabilization in production environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Oracle Fusion Financials Functional Consultant with strong Fusion Cloud Financials implementation and support experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion General Ledger (GL), including GL Allocations, journals, ledgers, COA, calendars, and accounting configurations.
• Proven experience in Oracle Fusion Financials implementations, including requirements gathering, functional design, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Strong understanding of GL allocation processes, allocation rules, formulas, journals, cost allocations, and period-end financial processes.
• Strong knowledge of core Oracle Fusion Financial modules such as GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Intercompany.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Oracle Fusion Financials implementation, enhancement, and production support activities.
• Configure and support Oracle Fusion General Ledger, including ledgers, chart of accounts, journals, accounting rules, periods, and financial processing.
• Design, configure, and troubleshoot Fusion GL Allocations, including allocation rules, formulas, drivers, and allocation processes.
• Gather business requirements, analyze functional gaps, prepare functional specifications, and translate business needs into Oracle Fusion solutions.
• Support SIT, UAT, defect resolution, deployment, and post-production stabilization activities.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, IT, technical teams, and other stakeholders to support Oracle Fusion Financials transformation initiatives.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Primary (Must-Have)

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Financials Functional Consultant with strong Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials implementation and support experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion General Ledger (GL), including GL Allocations, journals, ledgers, chart of accounts, calendars, and accounting configurations.
• Proven experience in Oracle Fusion Financials implementations, including requirements gathering, functional design, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Strong understanding of GL allocation processes, allocation rules, formulas, journals, cost allocations, and period‑end financial processes.
• Strong knowledge of core Oracle Fusion Financial modules such as GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Intercompany.

Secondary (Good to Have)

• Experience with Oracle Fusion Financials upgrades, enhancements, and application support.
• Knowledge of SLA (Subledger Accounting), Financial Reporting, month‑end/year‑end close, and reconciliation processes.
• Experience integrating Fusion Financials with other Oracle Cloud modules or external applications.
• Strong experience working with business stakeholders, technical teams, offshore/onshore teams, and implementation partners.
• Oracle Fusion Financials certification is a plus.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle Fusion General Ledger and GL Allocations, along with a strong understanding of core financial processes. The consultant will be responsible for functional configuration, requirements analysis, issue resolution, testing, implementation support, and ongoing production support for Oracle Fusion Financials.

• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, IT, technical teams, and other stakeholders to support Oracle Fusion Financials transformation initiatives.
