Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM Functional Lead with deep Payroll, Benefits, and OTL expertise to partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and Oracle. You will own configuration, solution design, testing, integrations, and ongoing optimization.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in ERP implementation or administration, 5+ years in HCM with a focus on Payroll, Benefits, and OTL, and at least 5 years as a Fusion HCM Functional Lead.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of ERP implementation/administration experience.
• 5+ years of HCM experience with Payroll, Benefits and OTL in Oracle Fusion Cloud.
• 5+ years specifically as an Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM Functional Lead (Payroll, Benefits, OTL).

Responsibilities

• Serve as functional lead for Payroll, Benefits, and OTL within Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM.
• Configure and support the platform, including Fast Formulas, custom fields, workflows, and security.
• Work with business SMEs to translate requirements into effective HCM solutions.
• Evaluate Oracle's quarterly releases/patches and manage testing and validation.
• Lead end-to-end testing for enhancements and fixes (test plans and scripts).
• Design and manage security roles/access using least-privilege principles.
• Troubleshoot complex application and integration issues with internal teams, vendors, and Oracle.
• Write functional and technical specs for integrations and related applications.
• Monitor system performance, stability, and security.
• Document requirements, workflows, policies, and configurations.
• Mentor and train team members on Oracle Fusion HCM.

We're looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM Functional Lead with deep expertise in Payroll, Benefits, and Oracle Time & Labor (OTL). This person will be the key link between business stakeholders, technical teams, implementation partners, and Oracle — owning configuration, solution design, support, testing, integrations, security, and ongoing system optimization.

What You'll Do

What You Need

• 5–7+ years of HCM experience, with strong focus on Payroll, Benefits, and OTL in Oracle Fusion Cloud
• 5+ years specifically as an Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM Functional Lead (Payroll, Benefits, OTL)
• Hands-on expertise with Fusion Cloud configuration, Fast Formulas, custom fields, and integrations
• Strong understanding of the Oracle Fusion data model/data dictionary
• Ability to translate complex business needs into functional/technical solutions
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

• Oracle Fusion security roles, access controls, and workflows
• Oracle Fusion ERP and EPM experience
• Third-party integration experience
• Solid understanding of HR, Payroll, and Finance processes
