Job summary

Canoo is seeking an Oracle Manufacturing analyst in our Oklahoma City office to support manufacturing, inventory, costing and PLM processes. You will analyze requirements, configurations, and data, build reports, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Inventory, Finance and PLM teams to drive improvements and enable better decision making.

You will work with IT to design and implement data solutions, participate in Oracle Cloud ERP upgrades, and help ensure data integrity and effective operations

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of IT experience.
• Strong work ethic with adaptability to change.
• Ability to learn and act on new information quickly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn and evaluate current business processes across Manufacturing, Inventory, Costing and PLM.
• Participate in Oracle projects involving strategy, implementation support and optimization.
• Collaborate with internal customers to drive business transformation using Oracle Cloud ERP.
• Support upgrades, design, testing and data validation to ensure financial modules meet needs.
• Identify root causes and proactively prevent issues.
• Maintain consistent practices to protect system integrity.

Job Purpose

We are looking for an Oracle Manufacturing analyst who will support core processes and strategic initiatives across Manufacturing, Inventory Management, Costing and PLM. The position calls for analyzing requirements, configurations, FBDI, building reports, performing research, and providing Support, all with the goal of driving better decision making and more effective operations. This position plans, designs, configurations, development, and deployment in support of core organizational functions and company processes. The Functional Analyst will work closely with Manufacturing, Inventory, Finance and PLM teams. In this role, you will also work with the IT team to support, design and implement various data solutions. Knowledge in Cloud WMS, Purchasing, MRP would be a plus.

You’ll work directly with the team in our Oklahoma City office and collaborate with leaders across a wide range of functions including sales, marketing, post sales, product, manufacturing, finance, operations, and HR. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn from many experts across a number of functional and technical disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Learn, evaluate, analyze, and understand the current state of the business processes.
• Participate in Oracle projects involving strategy, implementation support, and Oracle optimization related to Information Technology operations, business processes, security, and data integrity for the applications.
• Work hands‑on with internal customers and stakeholders to understand business processes and drive business transformation and process improvement while providing Oracle Cloud ERP solutions as an internal consultant.
• Participate in software upgrades, design, implementation, functional testing, and data validation to ensure quality solutions and ensure that all financial modules are meeting organizational needs.
• Anticipate problems, identify root causes, and be proactive about preventing issues from occurring.
• Ensure that consistent practices are used throughout the company to maintain the integrity of all related systems.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to help solve Canoo’s most difficult challenges, transform mindsets, unlock capabilities, and map the path to the next normal.
• Foster the spirit of people development, collaboration, and continuous improvement consistent with Canoo core values.
• Create and monitor strategic metrics to support assessment of progress against the IT strategy, vision, and overall operations.

Required Experience

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in IT.
• Strong work ethic with flexibility and adaptability to change.
• Intellectual agility – the ability to learn and act on new information quickly and efficiently.
• Strong communication as demonstrated through the presentation of strategy to different levels of the organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communications including content creation through various mediums.

Preferred Experience

• MS/MBA with 8+ years of work experience.
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of automotive/technology development, manufacturing operations, and industrial dynamics.
