Job summary

Apex IT is seeking an experienced Oracle ERP Technical Consultant to join our Colombia delivery team. This hands-on role focuses on Oracle ERP technical solutions, integrations, reporting, and system configuration for U.S.-based clients within a global delivery model.

You will partner with project managers and technical teams, work across Oracle ERP Financials and SCM modules, and use OIC, OTBI, and BI Publisher to ensure robust integrations and reliable data flows.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical contributor within Oracle ERP projects, supporting solution design and implementation activities.
  • Design and deliver Oracle ERP technical solutions, translating functional requirements into scalable technical outcomes aligned with best practices.
  • Support coordination of technical activities across ERP workstreams (integrations, reporting, data), ensuring visibility of progress and alignment with project timelines.
  • Track assigned technical tasks, help monitor progress, and elevate risks or blockers when needed.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, functional leads, and technical teams to ensure smooth execution of deliverables.
  • Design, develop, and support Oracle ERP integrations, primarily using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, and related Oracle integration tools.
  • Ensure reliable, secure, and efficient data flows between Oracle ERP and external systems, supporting testing, deployment, and post-production stabilization.
  • Lead and support Oracle ERP reporting activities using OTBI, BI Publisher, and related reporting tools.
  • Assist with data validation, extraction, reconciliation, and reporting accuracy across ERP modules.
  • Work across Oracle ERP Financials as the core focus area, with exposure to SCM modules (Inventory, Procurement, Order Management) from a technical perspective as a plus.
  • Some exposure to Oracle HCM, mainly supporting workflow approvals and reporting when required.
  • Participate in client discussions, technical workshops, and solution walkthroughs, clearly communicating technical solutions and progress.
  • Support testing cycles, cutover activities, and production support.
  • Contribute to pre-sales and solutioning activities, including technical feasibility input and effort estimation.
  • Support continuous improvement of Oracle ERP technical standards, integration patterns, and delivery practices, and assist in mentoring junior team members when needed.

Work Location/Travel: Remote within Colombia or on-site at client locations. Occasional travel (up to 20%) may be required for client engagements.

Job Summary:
