Job summary

SMX is seeking accomplished Associates to develop, customize, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite applications in Indianapolis. You will write PL/SQL scripts, configure modules, and troubleshoot issues while supporting business processes and collaborating with functional teams.

The role emphasizes data migration, integrations, and ensuring system functionality meets client requirements. Candidates should have SQL/PL/SQL proficiency and a solid Oracle EBS understanding.

Qualifications

• Active clearance or public trust based on sponsor.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, AME along with experience in Oracle EBS development tools and a strong understanding of the EBS application architecture.
• Development and customization: Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions using tools like PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, and Oracle Application Framework (OAF).
• Exposure to Projects, Purchasing, and budgeting
• Familiarity with Oracle R12.2.x application schema and able to create queries
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience with requirements gathering, testing, and solution design.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience. Directly related postgraduate study may be substituted for experience at the rate of three credit hours for three months of experience up to 36 credit hours.
• Exposure to creating technical documentation
• Oracle APEX experience (or similar report writer)

Responsibilities

• Development and customization: Design and develop custom applications, reports, extensions, and workflows within Oracle EBS to meet business needs.
• Integration: Build and maintain interfaces for data migration and integration with other systems, often using tools like XML Publisher or APIs.
• Technical support: Provide day-to-day support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis for the Oracle EBS environment.
• System administration: Perform system analysis, conduct upgrades, and ensure system performance, stability, and data integrity.
• Testing: Perform functional testing and debugging of RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) components.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for all development processes and solutions.
