Job summary

Columbus Technologies and Services seeks an Oracle EBS ODM/MRP expert to lead configuration reviews, implement enhancements, and optimize business processes at NASA JPL in Pasadena, CA. You will map As-Is processes to standard Oracle functionality and develop robust SQL/PLSQL solutions while supporting testing and user training.

The role requires deep ODM/MRP knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with Form Personalization and BI Publisher reports.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering two or more ODM/MRP implementations as part of Oracle eBS R12.13.x deployments.
• Deep functional and technical expertise in ODM, including Inventory and Oracle Master Scheduling/MRP.
• Ability to map as-is processes to Oracle EBS standard functionality.
• Expert knowledge of ODM/MRP: Inventory setup, profile options, system parameters for performance.
• Understanding ODM lifecycle: BOM, Inventory, WIP, MRP, Purchasing, Costing.
• Understanding upstream and downstream integration points.
• Strong technical skills: Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Form personalization, custom.pll, BI Publisher reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with REST APIs.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Lead ESA to review and gather requirements from stakeholders.
• Conduct fit-gap analyses and present options.
• Map current and future state business workflows in Oracle EBS.
• Recommend Oracle configuration updates to optimize processes.
• Support implementation of new features per designs and troubleshoot issues.
• Log and manage Oracle Service Requests and document designs.
• Develop SQL/PLSQL code, packages, and triggers; update code as needed.
• Tune queries and build interfaces, data loaders.
• Support custom extensions including Form Personalization and custom.pll.
• Diagnose bottlenecks, apply fixes, and assist testing and training.
• Provide bi-weekly status reports.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Collaborate with the Lead ESA to review existing business requirements and gather new requirements from stakeholders.
• Conduct fit-gap analyses and present options.
• Map current-state and future-state business workflows.
• Recommend Oracle configuration updates to optimize business processes.
• Support ESA in implementing new features and/or system changes aligned with approved functional designs.
• Troubleshoot application issues through resolution.
• Log and manage Oracle Service Requests.
• Create and update functional design documents, technical design documents, and process flows associated with configurations or approved customizations.
• Develop scalable Oracle SQL/PLSQL code including procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Update existing code to meet evolving requirements.
• Tune and optimize queries for performance.
• Build or retrofit interfaces, APIs, and data loaders.
• Support custom extensions including Form Personalization and custom.pll.
• Diagnose system bottlenecks, debug functional and technical issues, and apply fixes.
• Support testing and user training activities.
• Perform additional duties as directed by project team.
• Provide bi-weekly status reports.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Demonstrated experience delivering two or more Common Inventory implementations as part of broader ODM/MRP deployments in Oracle eBS R12.13.x.
• Deep functional and technical expertise in ODM, including Inventory and Oracle Master Scheduling/MRP.
• Ability to map, fit, and enhance complex "As-Is" business processes into Oracle EBS standard functionality.
