Job summary

Authority Partners is seeking an experienced Lead Oracle EBS Application Analyst to own day-to-day L1/L2 support operations in Houston, TX. You will mentor a team, own service delivery KPIs, and bridge functional gaps to the L3 engineering team, ensuring smooth client communication and issue resolution.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years with Oracle EBS R12, strong Finance modules knowledge (AP, AR, GL), SOX familiarity, and hands-on SQL.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting Oracle EBS R12, including lead/senior responsibilities.
• Deep functional knowledge of Oracle EBS Finance modules (AP, AR, GL) and/or Oracle Projects.
• Proven ability to manage a support team and drive service delivery outcomes.
• Strong client-facing communication skills (written and verbal).
• Experience defining and reporting on support KPIs (SLA adherence, MTTR, ticket aging).
• Hands-on experience with SQL for data investigation and ticket resolution.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor L1/L2 Support Analysts — setting priorities and supporting development.
• Conduct regular team check-ins and coaching on issue resolution and documentation standards.
• Onboard new analysts to the client environment, ITSM tooling, and processes.
• Serve as primary day-to-day client contact, delivering status updates and escalation communications.
• Facilitate regular sync meetings with client stakeholders to review open items and priorities.
• Review escalations and determine moves to L3 vs L2 with guidance.
• Collaborate with L3 engineers on complex issues and ensure thorough handoffs.
• Own the resolution feedback loop and communicate fixes to analysts and end users.
• Own weekly/monthly reporting on ticket volumes, SLA compliance and aging items.
• Identify recurring issue patterns and drive root-cause analysis or process improvements.
• Maintain and evolve the knowledge base based on trends.
