Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

The EBS SCM and Manufacturing Functional Delivery Architect at Argano plays a crucial role in understanding client requirements and implementing SCM and Manufacturing modules using best practices and standard functionality, while designing extensions and customizations to close any functional gaps — ensuring the solution is both feasible and valuable.

The Delivery Architect interacts directly with clients and other delivery team members throughout the full implementation lifecycle, bringing deep functional expertise and working technical knowledge in their area of specialization. With broad expertise — or unique depth — across EBS modules, they apply that knowledge creatively and effectively to help advance the company's objectives and drive successful outcomes for clients.

If you know EBS SCM and Manufacturing inside and out and you're ready to architect solutions that actually move the needle for clients — not just configure within someone else's blueprint — this is where that expertise belongs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the end-to-end Oracle EBS SCM and Manufacturing implementation covering:
    • Discovery workshops, current-state assessment, business requirements, fit-gap analysis, future-state process design, standard functionality evaluation, configuration decisions, customization assessment, functional specifications, integration requirements, and reporting requirements
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of manufacturing business processes, such as:
    • Discrete Manufacturing
    • Shop Floor Management
    • Production Planning
    • Project Manufacturing
    • Quality
    • ASCP
    • Inventory Control
    • Work Orders
    • Routing
    • Resources
    • Outside Processing
    • Lot and Serial Control
    • Make-to-Stock
    • Make-to-Order
    • Assemble-to-Order
    • Configure-to-Order
  • Analyze current business processes and scenarios to inform functional implementation, translating findings into detailed, business-focused Manufacturing and ASCP solutions
  • Recommend best-practice solutions and configurations to clients, refining based on client feedback and approval
  • Lead EBS R12.2 modules (Purchasing, Bills of Material, Work in Process, Inventory, Cost Management, Engineering, Quality, ASCP, MRP/MPS/MDS, Project Manufacturing, and Cycle Counting) through the complete implementation lifecycle — requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, design, build, integration testing, go-live, and post-production support
  • Create functional and design documents that align with business requirements and best practices
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager, Solution Architect, SCM consultants, and offshore development teams to complete the full implementation
  • Identify and resolve issues proactively to keep the project on schedule
  • Provide functional implementation and support for Oracle E-Business Suite R12 environments, including completing support requests and resolving user or system issues
MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or related field is required
EXPERIENCE:
  • 10–15 years of experience in the heavy equipment manufacturing industry with Oracle methodology, including gathering business requirements, designing business process flow diagrams, configurations, master data management, creating functional design documentation, and reviewing technical design documents
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior client stakeholders and colleagues at all levels within the company
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment
  • Experience leading an entire project workstream for relevant Oracle applications
  • Strong mentoring skills, with the ability to explain functional concepts to a wide variety of audiences
  • Proven experience across full implementation lifecycle projects, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing support, data conversions, go-live, and post-go-live support
  • Experience with Purchasing, Bills of Material (BOM), Work in Process (WIP), Inventory, Cost Management, Engineering, Quality, MRP/MPS/MDS, Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP), Cycle Counting, Project Costing, and Project Manufacturing
  • Exposure to integrations with Order Management, Finance, and Warehouse Management
