Whitehall Resources are partnering with a well-established global manufacturing organisation that is seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Financials Functional Consultant to support a recently integrated business unit in Cincinnati, OH. This 6-month contract aims to stabilise the environment, resolve financial process challenges and optimise Oracle EBS across the Finance function.

The role is business-facing, working with Finance stakeholders to translate requirements into practical Oracle EBS

Qualifications

• Strong Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials experience, ideally Release 12.x.
• Deep understanding of finance processes (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets).
• Experience collaborating with Finance teams and business stakeholders.
• Experience supporting post-go-live Oracle EBS environments and resolving functional issues.
• Ability to translate Finance requirements into Oracle EBS solutions and drive improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Previous Oracle EBS implementation, upgrade or transformation experience is highly desirable.
• Manufacturing industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Availability for an initial 6-month engagement with potential extension.
• Onsite work required, 5 days per week in Cincinnati, OH.

Responsibilities

• Work with Finance stakeholders to understand financial process and system challenges.
• Provide functional expertise across Oracle EBS Financials (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets).
• Analyse finance processes and identify opportunities for improvement and system optimisation.
• Translate business requirements into Oracle EBS solutions.
• Support post-implementation stabilisation and resolve functional issues.
• Review workflows and controls, recommending improvements.
• Support enhancements to Oracle EBS with IT teams as needed.
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting processes.
• Provide user training, documentation and change management.
• Prioritise enhancements with Finance and IT for continuous improvement.
• Support Oracle upgrade programmes planned later this year.

Whitehall Resources are partnering with a well-established global manufacturing organisation that is seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Financials Functional Consultant to support a recently integrated business unit.

Following a successful Oracle EBS rollout, the business is looking for a Finance-focused functional expert to help stabilise the environment, resolve business process challenges and optimise the use of Oracle EBS across the Finance function.

This is a highly business-facing Finance role, working closely with Finance stakeholders to understand challenges across financial processes, identify opportunities for improvement and translate business requirements into effective Oracle EBS solutions.

The ideal candidate will combine strong Oracle EBS Financials expertise with excellent communication, process analysis and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Finance stakeholders and business users to understand financial process and system challenges.
• Provide functional expertise across Oracle EBS Financials, including areas such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets.
• Analyse existing finance processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimisation.
• Translate Finance business requirements into practical Oracle EBS solutions.
• Support post-implementation stabilisation, troubleshooting and resolution of functional issues.
• Review financial workflows, controls and processes and recommend improvements.
• Support enhancements to Oracle EBS Financials, working closely with technical teams where configuration or development is required.
• Assist with month-end and financial reporting processes, ensuring Oracle EBS supports the business effectively.
• Support Finance users with system issues, functional guidance and best-practice recommendations.
• Assist with user training, documentation and change management.
• Work with Finance and IT stakeholders to prioritise enhancements and continuously improve the Oracle EBS environment.
• Support the business ahead of a wider Oracle upgrade programme planned later this year.

Requirements

• Strong functional experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials, ideally Release 12.x.
• Strong understanding of core Finance processes, including GL, AP, AR and Fixed Assets.
• Proven experience working directly with Finance teams and business stakeholders.
• Experience supporting post-go-live Oracle EBS environments and resolving functional issues.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, controls and system integration.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating them into Oracle EBS solutions.
• Strong process analysis and continuous improvement experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Oracle EBS implementation, upgrade or transformation experience is highly desirable.
• Manufacturing industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Initial 6-month contract, with potential for extension.
• 5 days per week onsite in Cincinnati, OH.
• ASAP start preferred.
