Thunderhawk Technology Partners in Smyrna, GA seeks an experienced Oracle EBS Financials Solutions Architect to support Finance transformation initiatives in a large enterprise environment. Qualifications

• 10+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Oracle EBS Financials subject matter expert for business and Finance stakeholders.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, Shared Services, and operational teams to understand and validate business requirements.
• Provide architectural guidance across Oracle EBS Financial modules, including: GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, SLA, eBTax.
• Evaluate business processes and recommend Oracle-based solutions aligned with best practices.
• Lead functional design discussions and ensure proposed solutions meet business objectives.
• Review configurations, customizations, integrations, workflows, and reporting requirements for alignment with Finance processes.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and help drive standardization and operational efficiencies.
• Assess impacts of proposed changes across upstream and downstream business functions.
• Support testing strategy, user acceptance testing, defect management, and deployment readiness activities.
• Facilitate workshops and requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
• Collaborate effectively with technical teams, implementation partners, and business leadership throughout project delivery.
• Provide risk identification, issue resolution, and decision support related to Finance system capabilities and process design.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Financials Solutions Architect to support strategic Finance transformation initiatives within a large enterprise environment.

This role requires a highly skilled Oracle EBS professional with deep expertise across Financial modules and the ability to operate at both strategic and hands‑on levels. The ideal candidate will serve as a key partner to Finance and business stakeholders, providing leadership in solution design, business process alignment, requirements validation, and implementation support.

The successful candidate will bring a unique blend of Finance domain knowledge, Oracle EBS expertise, and strong business acumen. This individual will work closely with Finance leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure Oracle solutions effectively support business objectives, operational requirements, financial controls, and reporting needs.

This is a highly collaborative, business‑facing role requiring strong communication skills and the ability to influence decisions across multiple stakeholder groups.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience supporting large‑scale Oracle Finance implementations or transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, controls, and reporting requirements.
• Experience reviewing and validating integrations, extensions, customizations, and reporting solutions.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective Oracle solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proven ability to interact confidently with Finance leaders, Controllers, Accounting teams, and executive stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle EBS R12 expertise.
• Experience within manufacturing, industrial, engineering, distribution, or asset‑intensive organizations.
• Understanding of Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P), Order‑to‑Cash (O2C), Record‑to‑Report (R2R), and Fixed Asset lifecycle processes.
• CPA, CMA, MBA, or equivalent business/accounting background is a plus.
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud Financials transformation initiatives.

COMPENSATION

W-2 contract: $70.00 to $85.00 per hour. Corp-to-corp: $70.00 to $90.00 per hour.

The rate is all‑inclusive and Thunderhawk provides no benefits or other compensation other than that required by law.
