Job summary

Infosys is seeking an Oracle Package Consultant 1 to support ERP implementations, focusing on Oracle EBS R12.2.x modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Projects) and Oracle Cloud basics. You will collaborate with stakeholders, design teams, and developers to tailor ERP packages, perform data migrations, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

You will contribute to an agile environment, document procedures, and assist in training the team.

Qualifications

• Oracle functional expertise with experience in services organizations.
• Experience in Oracle eBS Financials (GL, AP & AR).
• Experience in Oracle Cloud basics and Oracle applications implementation.
• Minimum 2–3 full lifecycle Oracle EBS R12.2.x implementations including AP, AR, GL, FA, CM, Projects.
• Experience configuring Oracle EBS R12.2.x to meet business requirements and document setups.
• Familiarity with Oracle project methodology (OUM) and testing strategies (CRP, SIT/UAT).

Responsibilities

• Assist in stakeholder interviews and workshops documenting user needs.
• Participate in discussions between stakeholders and design team to understand solutions.

• Perform data migration activities including mapping and data cleansing.

In the assigned Job Role of Package Consultant 1, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Assist in stakeholder interviews and workshops, capturing and documenting user needs for ERP implementation projects
• Participate in discussions between stakeholders and the design team, to understand technical solutions
• Develop and refine codes to customize and integrate ERP packages, by following detailed design specifications to meet user requirements
• Perform data migration activities by mapping data fields and executing data cleansing under prescribed guidance, for uninterrupted integration
• Conduct and document compliance checks against defined guidelines, to ensure ERP systems align with industry standards and security protocols
• Draft clear and concise documentation detailing steps followed for ERP package customization, to support user training for the team

Required Skill And Experience

• Oracle functional expertise and industry experience services organizations.
• Experience in Oracle eBS Functional Financials (GL, AP & AR).
• Experience in Oracle Cloud Basics.
• Experience in implementation of Oracle applications.
• Experience in at least 2 or 3 full life cycle implementation experience in Oracle EBS R12.2.x with module suite comprising of AP, AR, GL, FA, CM and Projects modules.
• Experience in configuring the Oracle EBS R12.2.x applications to meet business requirements and document application set-ups.
• Experience in executing implementation strategy, capturing business, systems requirements and analysis, prepare functional specification documents, solution designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing practical business solutions.
• Experience in Oracle project methodology (OUM) and testing strategies such as Conference Room Pilots (CRP) and Process Playbacks (SIT and UAT etc.)

Preferred Skill And Experience

• Knowledge about oracle cloud strategy on handling data conversion/migrations, inbound/outbound interfaces and reports with 3rd party applications
• Ability to identify functionality gaps and supporting the development of solutions for them.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
