Authority Partners is seeking an Oracle EBS Application Support Consultant (L2) to provide advanced functional support for Oracle EBS R12. You will analyze complex issues, implement solutions, and manage escalated tickets per SLAs while collaborating with business units and the broader support team.

The role requires deep Oracle EBS experience, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with BI Publisher and APEX. Remote work from Latin America is offered, with a global services focus and opportunities

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting Oracle EBS R12 and functional expertise across EBS modules (AP, AR, GL, CM, FA).
• Strong understanding of ERP architecture and cross-module business processes.
• Proven ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

Oracle EBS Application Support Consultant (L2) is responsible for providing advanced functional support for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications and resolving complex application and business process issues. The role involves conducting in-depth analysis, identifying root causes, implementing solutions, and managing escalated support tickets in accordance with established SLAs. The consultant collaborates with business departments and other support team members to resolve complex issues, support testing activities, and ensure the stability and continuous improvement of Oracle EBS applications. The ideal candidate has strong Oracle EBS functional expertise, a solid understanding of application architecture and cross-module business processes, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Communication

• Communicate directly with End-User, when needed, to investigate functional and technical issues, clarify business requirements, and provide regular updates on tickets status and resolution progress.

KPIs & Reporting

• Identify recurring issue patterns and drive root-cause analysis or process improvement initiatives


• Maintain and evolve the team knowledge base based on ticket trends and lessons learned

Hands-On Support

• Actively handle, investigate, and resolve L2/L1 support tickets related to Oracle EBS applications.


• Assist with the preparation, submission, and follow-up of Oracle Service Requests (SRs) when required, including gathering relevant information, documenting issues, and coordinating with Oracle Support until resolution.

WHAT YOU HAVE:

• 5+ years of experience supporting Oracle EBS R12


• Deep functional knowledge of Oracle EBS Finance modules (AP, AR, GL, CM, FA, iExpenses, iSupplier Portal), Oracle Projects, and AME.


• Demonstrate a good understanding of Oracle ERP architecture, application structure, and core business process


• Strong end user-facing communication skills - written and verbal, with the ability to translate technical issues for business audiences


• Hands-on experience with SQL for data investigation and ticket resolution support


• Experience with Oracle BI Publisher, including creating, modifying, and troubleshooting reports.


• Familiarity with Oracle APEX applications from a functional/support perspective

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field - or equivalent experience
