Software Placement Group (SPG) seeks an Oracle Developer to support its Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM environment in a Buffalo-area, on-site role. You will collaborate with business and IT teams, data engineers, and implementation partners on a major cloud transformation.

The role emphasizes configuring, developing, and supporting Fusion Cloud HCM modules, integrations, reports, and data extracts, with attention to reliability, data conversion, and knowledge transfer to vendors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Oracle Developer experience supporting enterprise application development.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM modules (Core HR, Payroll, Talent, Benefits, Security).
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Local to Buffalo, NY; Erie, PA; or Dayton, OH, or willing to relocate.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Overview

An established energy company with a large regional workforce is expanding its Oracle ecosystem as part of a broader cloud transformation and systems integration effort tied to a recent acquisition. The organization is seeking an Oracle Developer to support its growing Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM environment, working closely with business and IT teams, data engineers, application architects, and implementation partners on a significant enterprise technology initiative.

What you'll do

• Configure, develop, and support Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM and related applications
• Work with functional business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop and maintain integrations, extensions, reports, and data extracts
• Support data conversion, validation, and reconciliation activities

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of Oracle Developer experience supporting enterprise application development, systems analysis, or a related discipline
• Professional experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, including a mix of Core HR, Payroll, Talent, Benefits, and/or Security, including application configuration, extensions, integrations, or development
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; transcripts will be required
• Local to Buffalo, NY; Erie, PA; or Dayton, OH, or willing to relocate upon hire
• Legally authorized to work in the USA without any form of sponsorship, now and in the future

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in utilities, energy, financial services, or another regulated industry preferred
• Hands-on experience with enterprise implementations, acquisitions, and/or major platform transitions highly desired
