Job Description
  • Analyze and extract data from Oracle-based enterprise systems, including Oracle Federal Financials and Oracle CLM.
  • Design, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and PL/SQL packages to support report development.
  • Collaborate with Power BI and Azure Synapse developers to ensure data pipelines and semantic models are accurate and complete.
  • Work closely with business units to understand data requirements and ensure traceability from source systems to final reports.
  • Support report modifications, enhancements, and ad hoc reporting needs by ensuring the availability and integrity of underlying Oracle data.
  • Coordinate with the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) team to synchronize Oracle data feeds to the Azure Synapse Data Lake.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Oracle database-related issues impacting report development or performance.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Oracle databases, including Oracle Federal Financials.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL for query and script development.
  • Experience supporting business intelligence and reporting platforms such as Power BI and Business Objects.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving requirements.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in federal financial reporting or working within federal legislative agencies.
  • Familiarity with Azure Synapse or enterprise data lake environments.
  • Exposure to ServiceNow or other ITSM tools for ticket tracking and work assignment.
