Job summary

Dexian is seeking an experienced Oracle DBA for Charlotte, NC to manage and optimize Oracle Database environments. The role emphasizes hands-on 12c/19c+ administration, PL/SQL development, and expert SQL tuning to ensure high performance of production systems.

The ideal candidate will contribute to database design, data modeling, and Oracle objects, while collaborating across teams in a fast-paced IT environment.

• Hands-on Oracle Database administration (12c/19c+).
• Strong PL/SQL development experience.
• SQL development and performance tuning skills.
• Experience with database design and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle database objects including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, tables, views, indexes, and materialized views.
• Experience with Git and Bitbucket.
• Strong production support and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with software development, testing, release, and deployment processes.

Job Location: Charlotte, NC (3 days onsite & 2 days remote)

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database, preferably Oracle 12c/19c or later.
• Advanced PL/SQL development experience.
• Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills.
• Experience with database design and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle database objects including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, tables, views, indexes, and materialized views.
• Experience with Git and/or Bitbucket.
• Strong production support and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with software development, testing, release, and deployment processes.

Candidates should be prepared to speak in detail about the hands-on experience listed on their resume during the interview process.

Candidates may be asked to describe specific projects they have worked on, what they personally developed, technical challenges they encountered, how they solved problems, and the results they achieved.
