General Dynamics - Bath Iron Works in Bath, ME is seeking an Oracle Database Administrator to support, maintain, and optimize our enterprise database environment. You will collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to ensure reliability and performance of 12c/19c databases.

The role emphasizes safety and BOS standards with on-call incident support. Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of Oracle DBA experience, RMAN, ASM, OEM/Cloud Control, PL/SQL, and Linux/Unix scripting, plus strong

Qualifications

5–10 years hands-on Oracle DBA experience in production
Expertise with Oracle 12c/19c and newer
Proficiency with RMAN, ASM, and backup/recovery strategies
Strong SQL, PL/SQL, and schema design skills

Responsibilities

Administer, maintain, and optimize Oracle databases across development, test, and production environments
Monitor performance and implement tuning activities
Design and implement high-availability solutions (RAS/ASM)
Manage database security, user access, and compliance with standards
Contribute to disaster recovery planning and documentation
Collaborate with infrastructure, application development, and data teams
