Job summary

Yakshna Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Oracle DBA to join our hybrid Washington, DC team.

You will administer, configure, and maintain Oracle databases (12c/19c), including WebLogic, OIM, and Exadata environments, ensuring reliability, security, and compliance. The role requires strong hands-on experience with multiple database technologies (SQL Server, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and a proactive approach to performance tuning, backup/recovery, patching, and high availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field; equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience across a wide range of database technologies (SQL Server, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.).
• The SMEs must have minimum of 5 years experience in database management.
• Configure Oracle applications and databases to include Oracle Application Servers (WebLogic), Applications (OIM), Databases (Oracle Database 12c/19c), Exadata.
• The SMEs must be proficient in creating and managing standalone SQL and Oracle databases, and in the following disciplines: MS SQL, SQL Server, SQL Cluster Environments, MariaDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS Access.
• SMEs must identify issues, perform server maintenance, install software patches, and manage change, incidents, and requests.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain Oracle databases (12c/19c).
• Work with WebLogic, OIM, and Exadata environments to ensure reliability, security, and compliance.
• Install, upgrade, patch, and tune databases; monitor performance and reliability.
• Support multiple database technologies (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL).
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize database performance for enterprise applications.

As an Oracle DBA, potential candidates will be responsible for administering, configuring, and maintaining Oracle databases (12c/19c), including WebLogic, OIM, and Exadata environments. The role involves performing database installation, upgrades, patching, performance tuning, and ensuring system reliability, security, and compliance. The DBA supports multiple database technologies such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and MySQL, providing expertise in troubleshooting, backup, and recovery. Required Skills:
