Job summary

Ethereum Technologies in Austin, TX seeks an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage large enterprise databases on Unix/Linux. You will work with Oracle 18c/19c, perform upgrades, patches, and migrations, and implement GoldenGate for replication.

The role requires RAC/ASM administration, expert performance tuning, and robust backup skills (TSM). You'll collaborate with multiple application and infrastructure teams to ensure high availability across data centers.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle 18c/19c databases.
• Experience with IBM AIX, Linux, and Sun Solaris Unix operating systems.
• Experience applying PSU patches to Oracle databases.
• Database upgrades to Oracle 19c.
• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate implementation and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting multi-node Oracle RAC systems.
• Strong knowledge of Automatic Storage Management (ASM).
• Experience upgrading and migrating large databases across data centers.
• Strong database performance tuning and bottleneck analysis skills.
• Good understanding of Oracle database architecture.
• Experience configuring IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM).
• Ability to support multiple application and infrastructure teams across ongoing projects.
