Job summary

Delaware Resource Group of Oklahoma, LLC is seeking an IT Admin to safeguard the integrity of ALIS databases. You will manage backups, disaster recovery, and database maintenance for Oracle and SQL Server environments.

You’ll perform RMAN backups, tune using SQL, and ensure data security across SAN/NAS storage with VPN/SSL protections. This role requires strong scripting, vendor tools, and documentation, with cross-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 10 years of experience, or 8 years with a Master’s degree.
• Proficient in SQL/PL-SQL and able to execute queries.
• Experience with importing large data volumes and managing large Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Knowledge of SAN Fabric architecture (Zoning, LUN Masking, HBAs).
• Understanding IP Switch Fabric architecture (Routing, Failover).
• Working knowledge of NAS and related protocols.
• Engineering skills for Enterprise Server Racks.
• SSL/VPN security architecture within multi-layered Firewalls.
• Experience with Navisphere, Visual SAN, Fabric Manager.
• Experience with backup/restore for DR, including RMAN.

Responsibilities

• Perform backups, restores, updates, testing, and debugging of databases.
• Provide user access and keep servers operational; troubleshoot assets.
• Execute and troubleshoot database SQL scripts and report issues to developers.
• Create database backups for Disaster Recovery and maintain Oracle databases.
• Develop scripts for Level 0 and Level 1 backups and full data exports.
• Perform database restorations for DR from current backups.
• Review status via V$ tables/DBA views and monitor DB listeners.
• Install Oracle Critical Patch Updates and manage DR/logical/physical integrity.
• Collaborate with teams and support Enterprise Server Racks.
