Job summary

Diné Development Corporation seeks an Oracle Database Administrator to support modernization of mission-critical Oracle environments. You will install, configure, patch, monitor, tune, and secure Oracle databases, Grid Infrastructure, and ASM storage across dev/test/prod environments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Oracle DBA experience, strong RMAN, tuning, and security controls, plus DoD/government program experience and readiness to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle 19c+, Grid Infrastructure, ASM, and Oracle Linux.
• Strong RMAN, performance tuning, SQL/PLSQL, and OEM skills.
• Experience with OLS, DV, and TDE; patching and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and maintain Oracle DB environments.
• Administer Grid Infrastructure, Restart, and ASM storage.
• Apply RU, OJVM patches, and security updates.
• Monitor health, availability, performance, and capacity.
• Perform performance tuning and SQL optimization.
• Configure and maintain RMAN backup and recovery.
• Develop and test disaster recovery procedures.
• Implement security controls including TDE, OLS, DV, and unified auditing.
• Configure Oracle networking components and ensure cross-environment deployments.
• Collaborate with developers, cybersecurity, and sysadmins.
• Support vulnerability remediation and STIG compliance.
• Develop automation scripts; perform root cause analysis and keep SOPs.
