Job summary

Huntington Bank seeks an Oracle Database Engineer to join our onsite team. You will troubleshoot, optimize performance, and ensure high availability across database systems, while coordinating with Development, Operations, and other stakeholders.

The role emphasizes automation, scripting, and technical leadership on HA, DR, and security. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 3–5+ years as an Oracle DBA are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline, or 5+ additional years of equivalent experience.
• 3-5+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver automation and scripting of Oracle database activities and admin projects.
• Ensure optimal performance and high availability of database systems and services.
• Work with multiple technology teams and facilitate collaboration across stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership for large and/or complex business efforts.
• Support implementation of new DBMS releases and features.
• Implement automation practices across platforms.
