Qualifications

• 3+ years of database programming experience in a corporate information system lifecycle
• Experience with Oracle 12c+ developer tools including SQL*Plus and SQL Developer
• Proficient in SQL for table structures, indexing, constraints, views, and queries
• Experience using JSON data exchange with web applications
• Hands-on full SDLC experience: planning to maintenance
• Troubleshoot and resolve database defects and operational issues
• Experience with SQL Server 2016 tools and Transact-SQL (T-SQL)
• Familiarity with Linux and shell scripting
• Experience with ETL tools and scripts
• Experience with XML data and cybersecurity policy requirements (STIG)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust database structures and supporting solutions
• Develop and maintain Oracle database objects (tables, indexes, constraints, views, queries, procedures, packages, triggers)
• Develop database functionality using SQL and PL/SQL
• Support database integration with web applications using JSON
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, resolve and document database defects
• Create and modify database schemas through scripts
• Support ETL activities as required
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to meet application requirements
• Apply secure development practices and satisfy cybersecurity and system security requirements
• Improve performance, reliability, and security of database environments
• Evaluate and recommend database development tools and technologies
