Huntington National Bank seeks an Oracle Database Engineer to troubleshoot and optimize Oracle databases, deliver automation, and ensure high availability. You will interact with development, operations, and non-technical stakeholders to drive efficient database solutions.

The role requires 3–5+ years as an Oracle DBA, strong SQL skills, and expertise in Oracle 19c and security practices. Onsite office-based position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of equivalent experience required.
• 3-5+ years of Oracle Database Administrator experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle 19c to current.
• Advanced SQL skills and optimization techniques.
• Unix scripting (KSH/BASH) and Unix server experience.
• Experience with RAC, Exadata, Data Guard preferred.
• Ability to lead and collaborate across teams.

Responsabilités

• Own and deliver automation and scripting of Oracle database activities and admin projects.
• Ensure optimal performance and high availability of database systems and services.
• Work with multiple technology teams and facilitate cross-team collaboration.
• Provide technical leadership for large and/or complex initiatives.
• Support new DBMS releases and plan new features where appropriate.
• Adopt automation practices across platforms and domains.

Formation

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline, or 5+ additional years of equivalent experience
