Oracle Database Administrator (Remote - DC Metro, Active Clearance)

Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator
Work Arrangement: 100% Remote
Location: Must currently reside in the Washington, DC metropolitan area (DC / MD / VA)
Employment Type: Permanent / Full-Time
Base Salary: $110,000 per year
Schedule: Saturday through Tuesday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Onsite Requirement: Approximately 1 to 2 times per quarter in Washington, DC or Sterling, VA
Clearance: Active security clearance required

Position Summary

Dhaka Technologies Limited Company (DTLC) is hiring on behalf of its client for an Oracle Database Administrator supporting a cleared program in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The role is best suited to a junior to mid level Oracle DBA with roughly 3 to 5 years of relevant experience who understands both traditional Oracle database administration and modern CI/CD and database deployment pipelines. The position is fully remote, with occasional onsite presence in Washington, DC or Sterling, VA about once or twice per quarter.

Mandatory Requirements

• Approximately 3 to 5 years of relevant database administration experience
  
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM related field
  
• Hands on Oracle database administration experience
  
• Ability to work a Saturday through Tuesday schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  
• Ability to report onsite in Washington, DC or Sterling, VA approximately 1 to 2 times per quarter
  
• Current residence in the Washington, DC metropolitan area (DC / MD / VA)
  
• Active security clearance and U.S. citizenship, as required for access to the client environment
  

Desired Experience: CI/CD and Database Deployment

• Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions
  
• Ansible or Terraform for configuration management and infrastructure automation
  
• Liquibase, Flyway, or similar database change management and deployment tools
