Job summary

Taylor Corporation is seeking an Oracle CPQ Software Engineer to join our CPQ development team. You will engage in development, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of our CPQ environment, collaborating with engineers to enhance CPQ for Taylor Corporation in manufacturing settings.

The role emphasizes hands-on CPQ Cloud development, integration work, and mentoring teammates while tackling challenging CPQ initiatives. A strong focus on communication and design/documentation is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Oracle CPQ, including integrations with Oracle Cloud and/or other systems.
• Expertise in Oracle CPQ Cloud (BigMachines) development and configuration.
• Proven experience delivering complex CPQ projects.
• Hands-on development for Oracle CPQ Cloud including Configuration, Commerce, Document Designer, Workflow Approvals, Email Templates, BML, Layout Design.
• Thorough understanding of the Opportunity to Quote to Order lifecycle.
• Strong communication skills across organizational levels.
• Willingness to learn and explore other CPQ tools as required.
• Document design and code consistently throughout the design/development process.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Domain Specialist with the CPQ Solution Delivery team for the Enterprise CPQ program.
• Participate in design sessions with user interviews, requirements documentation and data collection.
• Collaborate with solution owners and SMEs on integration needs; present solutions to stakeholders.
• Develop scalable prototypes, proofs of concept, and technical designs for CPQ projects.
• Perform CPQ administrative tasks: Environment Setup, Data Table Management, File Manager, User & Group Management, Parts Creation.
• Conduct unit testing and coordinate with BAs and SMEs on functional testing.
• Troubleshoot CPQ issues; perform root cause analysis and escalate to Oracle Support as needed.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Manage conflicting priorities, including post-production support.
• Navigate and debug complex BML libraries and document changes clearly.
