Caterpillar Inc. seeks an Oracle CPQ Developer to architect and build scalable CPQ solutions and integrations across enterprise systems. You will work with Sales, Operations, and IT to deliver high‑quality, secure CPQ implementations and automations.

The role emphasizes hands‑on development, system integration, documentation, and production support in a fast‑paced environment. Onsite work is required, with a focus on delivering measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or STEM-related field.
• 3+ years hands‑on experience in Oracle CPQ Enterprise solution development and CPQ Site management.
• 3+ years hands‑on experience in Enterprise programming (Python, Java, .Net, C#).
• 3+ years with release management and change management experience.
• Strong sense of urgency and accountability to drive outcomes, including production outages.
• Solid OOP knowledge and ability to interact with management levels.
• Proactive, team‑oriented, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Architects and stakeholders to design scalable, integrated CPQ solutions.
• Analyze use cases, perform code review, and develop and support Oracle CPQ solutions and customizations.
• Develop and maintain Oracle CPQ REST/SOAP APIs, BMQL queries, and enterprise integrations with CRM, MDM, and PLM.
• Create technical documentation, execute unit tests, and ensure coding standards and change control compliance.
• Lead release activities across multiple servers with governance and security.
• Provide ongoing production support for CPQ and integrations, investigate incidents, and implement fixes.
