Job summary

Taylor Corporation is seeking an Oracle CPQ Software Engineer to play a critical role in development, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging our CPQ environment. You will work with team members to develop and enhance CPQ for Taylor Corporation, ideally with CPQ implementations in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires experience with Oracle CPQ Cloud (BigMachines) and strong collaboration across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Oracle CPQ, including integrations with Oracle Cloud or other systems.
• Expertise in Oracle CPQ Cloud (BigMachines) development and configuration.
• Proven ability to manage and deliver complex CPQ projects.
• Hands-on CPQ development for Cloud: Configuration, Commerce, Document Designer, Workflows, Email Templates, BML, Layout Design.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Domain Specialist with the CPQ Solution Delivery team for Enterprise CPQ.
• Participate in design sessions with user interviews, requirements, and data collection.
• Collaborate with solution owners on integration needs and present solutions to stakeholders.
• Develop prototypes, proofs of concept, and technical designs for CPQ projects.
• Perform CPQ admin tasks: environment setup, data table management, user/group management, parts creation.
• Conduct technical unit testing and coordinate with BAs and SMEs on function testing.
• Troubleshoot CPQ issues, perform root cause analysis, and escalate to Oracle Support as needed.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Navigate and debug BML libraries and document changes clearly.

Your Opportunity

Taylor Corporation has an opening on their CPQ development team! We are looking for an Oracle CPQ Software Engineer that will play a critical role in development, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of our CPQ environment. This role will work with various other team members to develop and enhance CPQ for Taylor Corporation. The ideal candidate will have done CPQ development and implementations in a manufacturing environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Serve as a Domain Specialist with the CPQ Solution Delivery team for the Enterprise CPQ program
• Actively participate in system design sessions which include user interviews, requirements documentation and data collection
• Collaborate with technical solution partner owners and SMEs on system integration needs to present solutions to stakeholders
• Develop and present scalable prototypes, proof of concepts, and technical designs for current and new Oracle CPQ projects
• Execute CPQ administrative tasks such as Environment Setup, Data Table Management, File Manager, User & Group Management, and Parts Creation
• Perform technical unit testing and coordinate with BAs and Workstream SMEs on function testing
• Troubleshoot complex CPQ issues, perform root cause analysis and elevate to Oracle Support as needed for timely resolution
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Manage conflicting priorities, including post-production support
• Navigate and debug complex BML libraries to determine an issue or add functionality and document the changes clearly

You Must Have

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience, or been involved in at least 2 implementations, in Oracle CPQ, including integrations with Oracle Cloud and/or other systems
• Expertise in Oracle CPQ Cloud (BigMachines) development and configuration
• Proven experience in managing and successfully delivering complex projects
• Technical hands‑on development for Oracle CPQ Cloud including Configuration, Commerce, Document Designer, Workflow Approvals, Email Templates, BML, and Layout Design
• Thorough understanding of the Opportunity to Quote to Order lifecycle
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
• Willingness to learn and explore other CPQ tools and applications as required
• Document design, code consistently throughout the design/development process

We Would Also Prefer

• Knowledge of related Oracle Fusion modules like Product Information Management, Inventory, Pricing, Costing, and Order Management
• Strong understanding of SOAP and REST APIs for integrating third‑party systems
• Hands‑on experience with CPQ integrations, especially with Salesforce and Oracle Sales Cloud
• Experience with Javascript and jquery
• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Experience in manufacturing use of CPQ

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $105,000 – $140,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
