Pierce Washington is seeking an experienced Application Architect to lead development of enterprise CPQ and eCommerce solutions. You will mentor engineers, drive implementation across the stack, and ensure scalable, secure systems.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering enterprise CPQ/eCommerce projects.
• Deep CRM/ERP integration experience.
• Understanding of SDLC including waterfall, agile, and hybrid methods.
• Bachelor or Master’s Degree from a reputable four-year university.

Responsabilités

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to Pierce Washington software engineers.
• Lead end-to-end implementation across front-end, CPQ platform, web services, and security layers.
• Translate business and technical requirements into a robust, scalable solution.
• Conduct performance tuning and diagnose complex compatibility issues.
• Proactively identify risks and implement error handling for stability and security.
• Improve code architecture, unit testing, databases, and technical designs.
• Perform QA on large projects including estimations, design, architecture, and coding.
• Participate in broader product design prototyping across modules and projects.
• Suggest and integrate third-party libraries and tools into the product.
• Ensure performance and scalability of delivered applications and projects.

You are an expert in multiple technical subject areas andan invaluable resource to any project.

What you get to do:

• Serve as a mentor and technical resource to Pierce Washington software engineers in the implementation of their projects.
• Lead implementation of the solutions across all layers of the technology stack, including front-end DOM, CPQ application platform, webservices, HTTP protocols, network security and user authentication layers.
• Translate business and technical requirements into an overall solution that is robust, scalable, and extensible.
• Conduct performance tuning and diagnose/resolve obscure technical compatibility issues.
• Proactively anticipate technical risks and design/implement error handling and other mitigation techniques to ensure system stability and security.
• Improve best practices in terms of code architecture, unit testing, database, and technical designs available to the Pierce Washington engineering team.
• Perform quality assurance on large projects, including areas of estimations, design, architecture, and coding.
• Participate in and prototyping broader product designs going across modules and projects.
• Suggest and implement third party libraries and software in the product.
• Responsible for overall performance and scalability of delivered applications and projects.

What you bring to the role:

• Experience implementing enterprise solutions supporting Quote to Cash business processes, including CPQ and eCommerce implementations.
• Deep integration experience with a variety of tools and technologies, including integration to a variety of CRM and ERP systems.
• Understanding of the systems development life cycle, including experience with waterfall, agile, and hybrid methodologies
• Expertise in the following technologies: jQuery, HTML, XML, JavaScript, Python, XSLT, XPATH, CSS, HTTP, SOAP, JSON and relational database concepts & SQL.
• Seven years of professional experience required; excellent software development skills. Previous consulting experience is a plus.
• Ability to meet client travel requirements as needed.
• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics from a reputable four-year university.
