Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 1 for its Oracle unit in Tempe, AZ, to support Oracle Applications development and cloud initiatives. The role involves gathering requirements, designing software specs, coding, testing, and production support within an Agile framework.

Candidates should have extensive Oracle tech experience, Oracle Cloud knowledge, and a strong financials/ERP background, with proactive issue resolution and teamwork emphasis.

Qualifications

• Experience in Oracle Apps technical and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of Oracle cloud and Oracle Applications Development.
• Experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Exadata database and ETL processes development.
• Experience in Oracle Financials in a corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs, and ensure accurate documentation of stakeholder requirements.
• Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications, and aid in creation of process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications, following detailed design specifications to meet user requirements.
• Execute test plans, analyse outcomes, and report defects to the development team, to facilitate enhancement of software performance.
• Support the integration of new software features, facilitating smooth transitions within the existing system infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and creation of comprehensive documentation for ongoing system maintenance.
• Systematically document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions, thereby enriching team's knowledge repository.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 1, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs, and ensure accurate documentation of stakeholder requirements

Required Skill And Experience

• Experience in Oracle Apps technical and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of Oracle cloud.
• Experience in Oracle Applications Development.
• Experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Exadata database and ETL processes development experience.
• Experience in Oracle Financials in a corporate environment.
• Experience in Accounting and Financial background knowledge.
• Experience with General Ledger, Accounts Payables and Fixed Assets preferred.
• Experience in Oracle ERP, Oracle Cloud Fusion, BIP preferred.
• Experience in implementing or supporting Oracle BIP and OBIEE.

Preferred Skill And Experience

• Experience working on Oracle Fusion cloud ERP system is a plus.
• Experience with ETL, large relational databases.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting.
• Experience in Unix Shell scripting skills.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
