Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 in the United States to contribute to data-intensive DW/BI projects. You will document requirements, participate in design and coding, review code, and ensure quality through tests.

The role emphasizes end-to-end SDLC, data architecture, and problem solving across analytics platforms. Ideal candidates have Oracle/Exadata experience, advanced PL/SQL, SQL optimization, and a track record in data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and data quality.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Oracle/Exadata experience and advanced PL/SQL programming.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skill And Experience

Hands on Experience with Oracle and Oracle Exadata.

Sound knowledge of advanaced PL/SQL Programming

Good Knowledge of SQL Development, Performance Tuning, Data Analysis and trouble shooting

Good experience in end-to-end implementation of DW BI projects, especially in data warehouse and mart developments

Good understanding of Data integration, Data Quality and data architecture

Preferred Skill And Experience

• Experience to Big data technologies is preferred.
• Experience in preparing test scripts and test cases to validate data and maintaining data quality
• Experience with design and implementation of ETL/ELT framework for complex warehouses/marts. Knowledge of large data sets and experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Hands-on development, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems

CI / CD exposure

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
