Insight Global is seeking a Senior Oracle Cloud Systems Administrator to support and optimize a large Oracle Cloud environment in Phoenix. You will oversee OCI, ERP Cloud, OIC, and related services, ensuring security, performance, and reliability across development, test, and production.

PAY RATE: $74.00 per hour W2 (paid weekly)

DURATION: Contract-To-Hire (6-Months to Permanent)

LOCATION: Phoenix, AZ 85054 (Hybrid/Remote - Onsite as needed)

SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES

We're seeking a Senior Oracle Cloud Systems Administrator to join a highly visible enterprise team supporting and enhancing a large-scale Oracle Cloud environment. This role will be responsible for the administration, security, performance, and ongoing optimization of Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and related Oracle platform services.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and support Oracle ERP Cloud environments across development, testing, and production.
• Manage user provisioning, security roles, permissions, workflows, and access controls.
• Configure and maintain Oracle Fusion environments and coordinate instance refresh activities.
• Monitor system health, service notifications, performance, availability, and overall environment stability.
• Partner with Oracle support and manage Service Requests (SRs) through resolution.
• Participate in release management, change management, and environment lifecycle activities.
• Administer Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including network security groups, IAM policies, compartments, and cloud resources.
• Implement and maintain security controls, monitor user activity, and perform regular access reviews and audits.
• Manage backups, disaster recovery processes, object storage, and restoration activities.
• Support Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) environments and integration platform administration.
• Provision and maintain Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP) databases and related Oracle cloud services.
• Perform data imports, exports, data validation, and data integrity activities.
• Develop automation scripts to reduce manual administration and improve operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex system, performance, security, and integration issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and user support materials.
• Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, business stakeholders, and external vendors to support ongoing initiatives and enhancements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong experience administering Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) administration and support.
• Experience supporting Oracle ERP Cloud / Oracle Fusion applications.
• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), security architecture, and role-based access controls.
• Experience provisioning and supporting Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP) databases.
• Understanding of Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS), environment cloning, and instance management.
• Experience managing cloud environments, backups, disaster recovery, and platform monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle security best practices and cloud governance.
• Working knowledge of Linux administration.
• Experience with PowerShell and/or Bash scripting.

NICE-TO-HAVE

• Experience implementing automation within OCI, OIC, or Oracle ERP Cloud environments.
• Experience supporting SaaS, PaaS, and cloud-native Oracle technologies.
• Experience with Oracle release management and environment migration activities.
• Familiarity with integration architecture and enterprise application ecosystems.

Compensation:

$74.00/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
