Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a field related to this position or equivalent work experience.
• 5-7 years of related experience with cloud implementations in a consulting role.
• Experience as a functional application specialist with Oracle HCM Cloud, specifically Payroll module.
• Oracle Cloud Payroll Lead with proven experience implementing the Oracle Cloud Payroll module.
• The Payroll Lead is responsible for guiding clients through end‑to‑end implementation activities, including system familiarization, requirements gathering, fit/gap analysis, configuration, testing cycles, cutover activities, and post go‑live support.
• This role also requires the ability to effectively manage and mentor junior and/or offshore resources supporting the payroll module implementation
• Excellent communication skills – oral and written – and the interpersonal skills needed to quickly establish relationships of trust and collaboration
• The ability to train and participate in the professional development of Huron staff in both project management and technical dimensions
• Proven ability to contribute on multiple projects of differing scale and duration
• Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed to work with client or other internal project teams
• Flexible living locations in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll module implementations for clients from definition through go‑live and post‑go‑live support.
• Mentor junior and offshore resources to ensure project success.
• Develop and maintain trusted client relationships and clear communication.
• Collaborate across engagements to deliver integrated payroll solutions.
