Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks an experienced Oracle Migration SME to lead a complex Azure to OCI migration. You will manage end-to-end planning, governance, and execution across infrastructure, apps, databases, security, and networking.

Qualifications

Extensive experience with Azure and Oracle cloud providers.
Lead Azure-to-OCI migration or comparable cloud migrations.
Experience with OCI services, migration methodologies, and cloud architecture.
Experience with Oracle technology and applications (Fusion, EPM, databases/Exadata).
Understanding of SDLC; familiarity with .NET applications.
Experience with MySQL and ETL processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to guide a small team within a larger program.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed migration plans with timelines, risks, and rollback procedures.
Provide oversight of data transfer, app establishment, and system integration.
Configure and provision target cloud environment per security requirements.
Decommission legacy cloud environment to prevent data leaks.
Oversee post-migration validation, testing, and performance tuning.
Produce knowledge transfer documentation including cloud-native configurations.
