Job summary

Strata is seeking a seasoned Oracle HCM Cloud Lead Functional Consultant to drive full lifecycle HCM implementations and enhancements. The ideal candidate will lead core functional workstreams with hands-on expertise in Core HR, Compensation, Recruiting and Absence Management modules of Oracle Cloud HCM.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable Oracle HCM solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and regulatory

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Oracle Cloud HCM functional experience including Core HR, Compensation, Recruiting and Absence Management.
• Proven full lifecycle implementations (2+ projects preferred).
• Strong understanding of Oracle HCM business processes and US HR regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to drive business engagement.
• Experience with UAT planning and execution.
• Demonstrated leadership in onsite delivery and client engagement.
• Must have valid US work authorization.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Oracle HCM Cloud Lead Functional Consultant to drive full lifecycle HCM implementations and enhancements. The ideal candidate will lead core functional workstreams with hands‑on expertise in Core HR, Compensation, Recruiting and Absence Management modules of Oracle Cloud HCM. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable Oracle HCM solutions.

Location:

Northeast Region (New Jersey, Philadelphia, New York, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Oracle Cloud HCM functional streams with deep expertise in Core HR, Compensation, Recruiting and Absence Management
• Translate business needs into detailed Oracle configuration, validation rules, and approval workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (integration, reporting, technical) to enable seamless system solutions.
• Lead system configuration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live support activities.
• Act as primary point of contact for stakeholders to ensure alignment of HCM solutions with business strategy.
• Facilitate workshops, design sessions, status reviews, and governance meetings.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of hands‑on Oracle Cloud HCM functional experience, including Core HR, Compensation, Recruiting and Absence Management
• Proven full lifecycle implementation experience (minimum 2+ full projects preferred).
• Strong understanding of Oracle HCM business processes and U.S. HR regulations as applicable.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to drive business engagement
• Experience with UAT planning and execution.
• Demonstrated leadership in onsite delivery and client engagement.
• Must have valid US work authorization

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle HCM Cloud Functional Certification (Global HR, Compensation, Recruiting, and/or Absence Management)
• Exposure to otherOracle HCM cloud modules like Payroll & Benefits
• Experience with Oracle HCM Security model, HDL, Personalization, Fast Formulas.
• Understanding of reporting tools such as BI Publisher and OTBI
