Job summary

Accenture plc is seeking a General Ledger Lead to direct the delivery of Oracle Cloud GL support services with emphasis on stability, integrity, and continuous improvement.

In this hybrid role, you will lead teams, manage incidents and escalations, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure accurate period close, reporting, and controls compliance across multiple offices including Atlanta, Tampa, and Dallas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with leading support teams for Oracle Cloud General Ledger (GL) and related finance processes.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
• Bonus Points: strong knowledge of record-to-report processes, including journal processing, reconciliations, period close, and financial reporting
• Bonus Points: experience managing incidents, escalations, service delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Bonus Points: ability to oversee GL configurations, controls, security, and compliance requirements
• Bonus Points: knowledge of integrations between General Ledger and subledgers such as AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of high-quality support services across Oracle Cloud General Ledger processes.
• Manage team performance, incident handling, and escalation management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align service delivery with business expectations.
• Drive period close, reporting, controls compliance, and process optimization while mitigating risks.
