Job summary

Sierra-Cedar is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Financials Lead Consultant to guide clients through end-to-end Cloud implementations, with emphasis on GL and Budgetary Control. You will collaborate with stakeholders, PMs, and consultants to deliver scalable finance solutions for public sector clients.

The ideal candidate has strong Oracle Cloud Financials experience, excellent communication, and a track record of leading functional teams in complex ERP projects. Hybrid work options apply.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years’ experience with Oracle Cloud Financials and 2 end-to-end Oracle Cloud implementations.
• Oracle ERP Cloud experience covering AP, AR, Asset Management, Cash Management, Expenses.
• Expertise in GL, Budgetary Control, Chart of Accounts, Cost Allocations, and SLA preferred.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to work independently with technical teams and end users.
• Ability to lead other functional consultants through project phases.
• Public Sector experience required (city, county, state government offices, k-12).
• Oracle Cloud certification(s) strongly preferred.
• Must already be living in the US and eligible to work without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional Oracle Cloud consulting as SME and lead clients through the Cloud implementation lifecycle.
• Identify business requirements and map them to ERP Cloud functionality.
• Conduct design workshops, identify gaps, and build extensions.
• Advise on options, risks, and impacts on processes or systems.
• Configure applications to meet requirements, validate configurations, and document setups.
• Write BRDs for reports, interfaces, data conversions, and extensions.
• Assist clients in validating scripts and test scenarios; develop tests.
• Lead migration of configuration, integrations, and extensions to production.
• Communicate status, drive project deliverables, and share knowledge.
