Job summary

IBM Consulting seeks an Oracle Cloud Financials Senior Principal Functional Consultant (GL/AR) to join our team. This full-time role can sit anywhere in the United States, with travel to client sites as needed.

You will lead functional tracks, configure modules, and guide data migration and testing efforts, while collaborating with clients to define requirements. You will bring deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Financials, strong accounting knowledge, and a proven ability to run workshops and lead

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
5+ years ERP implementation experience with 2 full-cycle Oracle Cloud Applications as Module Lead.
Experience in business process consulting, workshops, and design sessions.
Ability to travel per project and client needs.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

Responsibilities

Lead functional tracks on IBM’s Oracle Cloud ERP engagements.
Provide SME in Oracle Cloud Financials GL, AP, AR, Tax, and CM modules.
Lead Chart of Accounts redesigns and financial close processes.
Assess gaps between delivered functionality and client requirements and propose solutions.
Document gaps, issues and solution flows; map business processes to Oracle applications.
Configure modules to align with client processes and migrate data to Oracle Cloud.
Develop test scenarios and scripts; lead testing events (unit, integration, UAT).
Conduct workshops with clients to define business requirements and obtain sign-off.
Facilitate knowledge transfer to client teams.
