Job summary

IBM Consulting is looking for an Oracle Cloud Financials Senior Principal Functional Consultant (GL/AR) to join our nationwide team. This is a full-time role that can sit anywhere in the United States and requires travel to client sites as needed.

The candidate will lead functional tracks across Oracle Cloud Financials modules and partner with clients to design, configure, and deploy solutions that align with business processes.

Qualifications

• Lead functional tracks on Oracle Cloud ERP engagements.
• Provide SME in Oracle Cloud Financials GL, AP, AR, Tax, Collections, FA, CM.
• Lead Chart of Accounts redesigns and financial reporting requirements.
• Strong accounting knowledge with SOLID accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional tracks on IBM’s Oracle Cloud ERP engagements.
• Provide SME in Oracle Cloud Financials GL, AP, AR, Tax, Collections, FA, CM.
• Understand CoA structure and lead month-end/year-end close.
• Lead workshops to define business requirements and map processes to Oracle Cloud.
• Document gaps, issues, and solution flows; design functional specs and test scripts.
• Migrate financial data from Legacy to Oracle Cloud.
• Coordinate testing events and ensure test results meet quality standards.
• Provide knowledge transfer to clients and internal teams.
