Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking an Oracle Cloud Financials Senior Principal Functional Consultant (GL/AR) to lead ERP engagements across the United States. The role requires travel flexibility to onsite client work and can be performed from anywhere in the US.

You will oversee functional strategy, requirement workshops, gap analyses, data migration, testing, and knowledge transfer. Ideal candidates have 5+ years ERP implementation experience, strong accounting fundamentals, and deep Oracle Cloud

Qualifications

• Lead functional tracks on Oracle Cloud ERP engagements.
• Subject matter expert in Oracle Cloud Financials GL, AP, AR, Tax, Collections, FA, and CM modules.
• Knowledge of Chart of Accounts redesigns and financial reporting needs.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Provide accounting principles-based solutions for financial modules.
• Engage with clients and lead workshops to define requirements.
• Perform gap analyses and propose Cloud Financials solutions.
• Document gaps, issues and solution flows.
• Map business processes to Oracle Cloud Applications.
• Configure modules to align with customer processes.
• Migrate legacy data to Oracle Cloud Applications.
• Prepare functional design for technical objects.
• Develop testing scenarios and scripts.
• Lead testing events and ensure testing quality.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities
