Job summary

Apex IT is hiring an Oracle Cloud CX Architect to lead solution architecture for the DCS Customer Service Portal and Oracle CX Service. The role translates business requirements into scalable CX solutions and oversees integration design.

You will document architectures, guide technical decisions, and ensure alignment with security and privacy standards. Remote or on-site work with travel as required; reports to the President; full‑time exempt position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience architecting Oracle CX solutions.
• Strong experience with Oracle CX Service or Oracle Fusion Service.
• Experience designing customer service portals and related integrations.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and integration architecture.
• Ability to document technical designs and collaborate with functional, development, and integration teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture and design for the DCS Customer Service Portal and Oracle CX Service.
• Translate business requirements and customer service processes into scalable, maintainable Oracle Cloud CX solutions.
• Provide architectural direction for the customer service portal, including solution configuration, functionality, and integration with supporting systems.
• Help oversee integration architecture and design involving Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and integration resources to resolve design questions and technical challenges.
• Document solution architecture, design decisions, integration touchpoints, and technical requirements.
• Ensure the solution aligns with business needs, security requirements, data privacy standards, and established architectural best practices.
• Provide hands‑on guidance during solution development, testing, deployment, and production readiness.

Work Location/Travel: Work is remote or on-site. Percentage of travel, where the travel occurs, such as locally or in specific countries or states, and whether the travel is overnight, varies. This resource must be willing and able to travel as required by the customer project.

Job Summary:

The Oracle Cloud CX Architect will lead solution architecture and design for the DCS Customer Service Portal and Oracle CX Service. This role will translate business requirements into scalable CX solutions, provide architectural direction for portal functionality, and help oversee integration design. Responsibilities include documenting solution architecture, guiding technical decisions, resolving design challenges, and ensuring the solution aligns with business requirements, security standards, and architectural best practices throughout delivery.

Essential Functions:

• Lead solution architecture and design for the DCS Customer Service Portal and Oracle CX Service.
• Translate business requirements and customer service processes into scalable, maintainable Oracle Cloud CX solutions.
• Provide architectural direction for the customer service portal, including solution configuration, functionality, and integration with supporting systems.
• Help oversee integration architecture and design involving Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

The work environment is remote or on-site at a client location. While remote, employees are expected to provide office space for themselves with a professional background (including virtual backgrounds) and noise level. A reliable and consistent internet connection is required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
• Bending, sitting, lifting, and/or driving.

Position Type and expected hours of work:

• Full time work during Apex IT business hours and, at times, outside of business hours, if required.
