Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced IT professional to serve as a technical expert for Oracle CC&B applications, providing analysis, development, maintenance, and production support.

You will design, develop, test, and document enhancements and integrations; lead complex projects; collaborate with business, architecture, and operations teams; manage risks and ensure long-term solution stability.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in IT
• 6+ years of IT application development experience
• Strong Java development expertise
• Strong Java Web Services experience
• Oracle databases experience and SQL proficiency
• XML knowledge and data integration concepts
• Linux operating systems familiarity
• Scripting knowledge
• Experience with Eclipse and debugging
• Ability to analyze complex problems and communicate with stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert for Oracle CC&B applications
• Provide application analysis, development, maintenance, and production support
• Design, develop, test, debug, and document enhancements and integrations
• Lead and support complex projects
• Manage priorities and track project risks and issues
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders
• Collaborate with business, architecture, operations, and development teams
• Advocate for business needs throughout solution design and implementation
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks
• Develop contingency plans to ensure delivery
• Support functional specs, data deliverables, QA testing, and transition-to-sustainment
