Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced IT professional to serve as a technical expert for Oracle CC&B applications, providing analysis, development, maintenance, and production support.

You will design, develop, test, and document enhancements and integrations; lead complex projects; collaborate with business, architecture, and operations teams; manage risks and ensure long-term solution stability.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in IT
• 6+ years of IT application development experience

Job description

• Serve as a technical expert for Oracle CC&B applications
• Provide application analysis, development, maintenance, and production support

• Lead and support complex projects

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or a two-year technical diploma combined with relevant experience
• Six (6) or more years of experience in IT application development
• Strong expertise in Java development
• Strong expertise in Java Web Services
• Enterprise application support experience
• Advanced SQL development skills, including query optimization
• Experience working with Oracle databases
• Strong knowledge of XML
• Knowledge of data integration concepts
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of scripting
• Experience with development tools such as Eclipse
• Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop effective solutions
• Ability to perform as a subject matter expert
• Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Customer focus and ability to understand business needs and deliver effective technology solutions
• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently
• Travel up to 25% required
• Oracle CC&B experience and Java Server Pages (JSP) experience are considered strong assets
